Ceramic Coatings

CQUARTZ Finest Reserve is a state-of-the-art flagship coating suited exclusively to the most skilled, hand-picked installers in the world. At Full Armour Detailing we are privileged to take part of a global network of established CarPro Tier 1 Approved Installers, of which less than 200 exist in the world, and only 18 in Canada. All Finest installers have committed to fully prep, decontaminate, and polish the surface to the highest level possible before application of Finest Reserve to enhance it even further!

It is an extremely complex hybrid blend of SiO2-infused epoxy nanoparticles developed to carry the torch for the ultimate development of the CARPRO line of advanced professional coatings.

The New 2020 Cquartz Professional is an enhanced fast-curing version of the coating already loved by the best professionals. CQuartz Professional harnesses the power of advanced nanotechnology. Each silica (quartz) atom has multiple fluorocarbon molecular bonds, which creates a high-density 3D structural coating matrix. Once bonded to the surface of your paint, CQuartz Professional not only protects the gloss and depth created by your professionally accredited CarPro installer, it actually enhances it! Once cured, CQuartz Professional forms a dense, durable coating that protects the paint for years to come.

Meet CQUARTZ’s toughest companion DQUARTZ: a functionalised nano-diamond ceramic coating.

The pencil test is a common method to measure the hardness of paints or coatings. Essentially it checks which standardised graphite (1H, HB, 1B, 2B, etc.) will be hard enough to scratch the surface. As always, we steer clear of the popular, yet physically impossible claims of extreme Mohs scale hardness, and giving you the real facts. If your paint has a rating of 1B, DQUARTZ will push it up 5 levels, going as high as 3H. Looking for ‘groundbreaking’? This is how it really looks like.

Treat alloy wheels, faded plastic, and rubber trim with CQUARTZ DLUX to restore their rich, glossy finish, and give them the lasting hydrophobic nanotechnology protection these surfaces deserve.

Interior Leather 2.0 Coating, The CQUARTZ Leather 2.0 (replaces the original leather coat), which is a natural evolution of the world-renowned leather and vinyl coating – CQ Leather.

Fabric Protectant, The most durable coating to protect textiles against water, liquids, dirt, and stains. It does not affect the look, texture, breathability, or color and it’s easy to use.

We have redesigned hydrophobic and adhesion tech to ensure a strong bond with your windows, allowing water droplets to effortlessly glide off the glass, delivering outstanding hydrophobic effects even at speeds below 50 km/h.

At Full Armour Detailing, we use IR lamps to cure our ceramic coatings.

  • IR curing allows solvents in the coating to evaporate faster and more completely.

  • This speeds up the coating’s hardening process, letting customers pick up their vehicles sooner.

  • Many brands say IR curing isn’t required, and coatings can still bond without it — but IR curing noticeably improves performance.

  • Without IR curing, customers are usually told not to wash their vehicle for about a week to allow natural curing and avoid chemical exposure.

  • Once a vehicle leaves the shop, it immediately faces harsher contaminants than wash chemicals: bird droppings, road grime, de-icing salts, etc.

  • Non-IR-cured coatings only reach around 50% of their full potential, depending on the solids-to-solvents ratio.

  • In real-world use, daily-driven, regularly washed vehicles get 5 years of protection from an IR-cured 5-year coating — versus 2–3 years with natural curing.

So, what's the takeaway?

Does your ceramic coating need to be infrared cured? Not necessarily. However, if you want the best protection and longevity from your coating, IR curing is essential. Before purchasing a coating, ask the right questions to ensure you’re receiving top-notch service. We strive to provide our clients with the absolute best, going above and beyond to make that a reality.
